At 20, she received her BA from Central Michigan University. At 22, her Masters in Communication from Illinois State University. She graduated with both degrees without a dime of student loan debt and currently travels the nation inspiring students and others to push through their circumstances and achieve their wildest dreams.
Dr. Raushannah Johnson-Verwayne, also known as “Dr. RJ”, is a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder of Standard of Care Psychological Services, LLC, in Atlanta, GA. She advocates for those affected by emotional and behavioral issues and focuses on evidence-based, trauma-informed care to improve overall quality of life for her clients. Dr. RJ helps clients develop realistic, long-lasting, and life-changing goals. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology, graduating with highest honors from North Carolina A&T State University, where she joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and later received her doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology.
Sabrina Griffith, SHRM-CP, CDP is a consultant, trainer and strategist who works to encourage inclusion and belonging in corporations, businesses and organizations as they strive to create equitable practices.
Sabrina is a Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and a DiversityFIRST™ Certified Diversity Professional (CDP). She has worked extensively in student affairs and operations, leading residential programs, advocacy, emergency response and student support services. With more than ten years as a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practitioner, Sabrina develops and facilitates engaging and comprehensive sessions on DEI topics including gender, sexuality, LGBTQ+ allyship, bias, race, colorism, and classism to name a few.
Lasana O. Hotep is an educator and entrepreneur committed to developing strategic and practical solutions to address systemic inequities in education and society at large. For over 15 years, he has worked at large research universities, two and four year colleges , and has served as a consultant to educational, organizational and corporate entities in addressing issues of race, gender and social justice and their impact on organizational success. As a lecturer he has delivered talks throughout the United States and internationally in Beijing, China and Accra, Ghana (West Africa).
