Biography:

Chaz is the author of "Careeranista: A Woman's Guide to Success After College." She is also a speaker on topics relevant to college undergrads and new graduates, and a career columnist. Her column has been published in numerous newspapers and websites, including The St. Louis American, The Dallas Weekly, Stanford University’s student newspaper, blackcollegian.com, and blackcareerzone.com. Her advice has been quoted in various career-related articles, including ones published by Essence and The Miami Times. She received a master’s degree in publishing from Pace University in New York, and bachelor’s degrees in print journalism and sociology from Texas State University-San Marcos. Kyser, a former college journalism instructor, currently lives in Washington, DC where she is working on another career-related book and providing editing services for individuals and businesses. She also just completed working as a full time editor for Tavis Smiley’s company Smiley Publishing in New York, New York.
